it would be interesting to gather the stats on the number of 'apologies' each of the papers has had to make based on their "reporting" of issues close to their hearts. My guess is that the Scum and the Heil are way ahead of the Mirror and Guardian.

Corbyn offering the earth without full funding so more borrowing to come. May offering more of the same for the time being and misery if we don't get an acceptable deal from Brexit negotiations. Lib Dems offer a better all round package but no strength to implement it. UKIP are destined to become a marginalised party in our 'liberal' democracy. Not a Green voter but I was impressed by Caroline Lucas who spoke much sense, but will be ignored by most voters. Our voting system is crap but both Labour and Tories benefit from the system and will not want the system changed. I heard a farmer once say "the Tories buy Democracy". Have they bought you?

So, as they seem to love alliteration, are we talking
'strong and stable here...or 'weak and wobbly'?

Watch this short clip and all will be revealed :(

Exit poll has a hung parliament!

Cons 314, Lab 266, Dems 14, SNP 34 is the prediction. Putting Conservatives 12 short of a majority. It'll be really interesting to see how close that is to the truth!
For comparison, the accuracy of the exit polls from previous years, courtesy of FT:

The "current" polling method, as used by the BBC (and then the combined exit poll) from 2001 onwards, had errors of 6,0,0,15. So if the poll is as wrong as last time, in the Conservatives favour, that would give them 329 seats and a majority of just 3.

Going to be a long night for the politicians!

BBC reckon 76 seats are "too close to call", which could translate into a more inaccurate exit poll than usual.

All I want from tonight is a clear result one way or the other. This is the wrong time in the political cycle to be saddled with a hung parliament! <ok>

Labour pull 40%. As many as Atlee in 1945. Corbyn and his cronies did well
