i cant believe how bad our club have become.over a week ago i ordered my ticket for the col u game and they said i would get it in about three or four days.friday afternoon i phoned the club and they said they sent it out on wednesday, they said they would reserve me a ticket but i had to pick it up at colchester when i got there ,no problem, well it was ,there was no ticket reserved for me :steam:i had to then buy another ticket for 20 quid on the day.surely the club should realise that they need to send their tickets in time for away games.all them extra staff at the adams park ticket office and they still cant get it right.<doh><grr>

****ing hell. In this day and age what's with posting the tickets? And as for having to buy another ticket on the day, what a disgrace. When we come to UK we often reserve a place literally a few hours before leaving and have an instant email confirming the booking and receipt. Even without it all you need is the booking reference to board the ferry. Surely WWFC can email you the ticket with a booking reference and for away matches email a copy to the other club. You pass over the ticket, they check the reference and let you in. Bloody simple.

I'm fuming and it didn't happen to me.

this is truly disgraceful. Did u get your money back for the original ticket Rocky?

How the hell do the idiots who run our club EVER expect us to progress when this kind of thing is happening. I dont know your financial situation Rocky but you were obviously fortunate to be able to buy another one - imagine if it had been a dad with 2 kids going to their first game and they had got to the turnstile and hadnt been able to get in. If the dad couldnt afford to pay again, you would have a family that would be put off ever coming again. In fact they would prob tootle back to Wycombe and go and walk in to AP to watch Wasps.

    Sickening.

i havent got my money back yet devon blue but i intend to ring the club in the morning ,in my eyes its a transaction on my credit card so it should be ok to be refunded, but who knows, little things like this can put off any new supporters for life and its something that the club clearly needs to sort out.i will keep you posted on what wwfc have to say on the subject on monday but needless to say i am not very impressed being a season ticket holder as well or is it platinum member, more like a bronze member in my eyes

i rang the club this morning and they are ringing me back this afternoon or so they say but i aint holding my breath.all i asked for was a refund on my ticket and was put on hold then the same bloke came back on the phone and he then put me on to someone else ,i had to repeat the story all over again then he said have i got a receipt for the ticket i bought at col u etc etc .this is doing my head in.NOT VERY GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE IN MY EYES,or maybe i am getting a miserable old sod at my age.if this is the treatment you get being a PLATINUM SEASON TICKET HOLDER id hate to think how they treat the casual blues fan.rant over:steam:

normally i'll defend the club but earlier on i was in the club and witnessed something quite strange. there was somebody in there where is overheard the conversation: first they were informed that thier season tickets, which they had already bought, could still not be printed as the machine had broken (fair enough). then they asked to buy tickets to the notts forest game, only to be told that it was only on sale to platnuim members until wednesday (why?), which as they did'nt have thier platnuim membership because the club couldent print it they couldent buy it yet.

sprry i've rambled that one a bit, that probably made no sense but can someone explain the logic behind it?

i just rang wwfc again and they said they were awaiting confirmation from colchester united and would get back to me .low and behold ten minutes later i get a phone call from colchester united and the bloke admitted he had recieved conformation from wycombe to reserve me a ticket to obtain when i got to the ground and it was all his fault for not leaving the ticket out.he said they will reimburse me and apologised for all the inconvenience.well thats a relief, but the facts are i ordered the ticket a week and a half before the game and the date on the envelope was thursday when it was sent out,why when wwfc had my order a week earlier did they leave it that late to send out:steam:

Crazy. Whatever happened to the days of turning up, buying a ticket and going to watch a game? It shouldnt be this hard.

JS, i normally efend the club because i believe some people tend to make a fuss over nothing and i understand how difficult it can be. however in the incident i saw, and the incident involving rocky, it seems that the club are all over the place at the moment

At least the Colchester chap apologised. You could have been in the **** if he hadn't. Before I came over and saw the game against Aldershot, the last game I saw was when I took Amanda to see the cup game against Villa. I bought the tickets over the phone by credit card and they said the tickets would be at the desk. We had to stand there for ages listening to the cheers, when eventually they found the tickets (under the wrong name) by which time it was 2-1 to Wycombe. I mean, they had to have the correct name to process the credit card for **** sake. I was not happy.

I bought Blues Cards or 'Club Membership' for me and my Dad on the day of the Scunthorpe game and they still haven't been sent through. Luckily I haven't needed to use them yet but if they still haven't come by the time we look to get tickets for the Bury game I won't be best pleased.

Good to know there are other fans in the same position, or worse position, anyway. Still a disgrace though.
