Peak of 14 million. Average closer to 11 million. Nearly a 50% share of viewers were watching it on BBC1. Then the millions more around the world and through social media. Incredible viewing figures.
Exactly that! I'm seriously interested - when does something become terrorism? My thought was it would have to be targeted but this guy had his target.
Thought it was a great concert. Much of the music wasn't to my taste but it was all about the message and the atmosphere. I also suffered from bouts of hay fever while watching. One Love Manchester
By the way, Oasis should never reform. In fact they should have called it a day at the end of the 90s. Saw them at Maine Road in 96 and they were epic, as were the crowd. Saw them again at Wembley a few years later and they were ****, as were the crowd.
I would say that if it was done to generate fear/terror with an attack on non-military people, to achieve a predefined goal, it's terrorism. So the Cumbrian taxi driver, and Hungerford, were mass killings rather than terrorism, and military action by a standing army is war/conflict, rather than terrorism.
I was in Manchester last week and saw the floral tributes, balloons and teddies in St Ann's Square which was a moving and sombre experience. Not ashamed to say I shed a tear as the sheer number of tributes and people coming to pay their respects were huge. I thought last night's concert was fantastic; Somewhere Over the Rainbow at the end had me sobbing! The sadness for those lost and the threat of further attacks won't diminish, but it's part of the healing process and a chance to gather together and celebrate the love, compassion and unity we have in our communities.
I would think that it would be carried out by those with a political goal against the public. Or a radical brainwash as in the 3 retards in London.
