True, but Hampshire vs Warwickshire is clearly a more important and iconic contest than India vs Pakistan. Right?
Warks' day. Strong chance that they will come away with a draw now. Going into today I wanted them four down in their second innings as a minimum, but ideally five or more. There is clearly a sizeable difference between needing eight wickets with a lead of 186, and needing five or six wickets with a lead of 250. And that's the case whether we get 40 overs tomorrow or 96 overs or something in between.
Anyone local what does the weather look like? BBC weather suggesting by 1 it will be raining rest of day, be such a shame to be denied victory by the rain, been such a good performance.
7 down now! Wow. I'm in London so have no idea about the weather myself but the radio commentators are suggesting there's no rain in sight. Lunch isn't too far off though.
According to the weather forecast from earlier it is meant to be chucking it down here in Southampton. It has rained a wee bit, but it's just cloudy now. One of my barometers has even started to rise.
A relative lives in the southern part of Southampton. We often observe that she gets far more rain than I do. I live next to the Sports Centre in the north of the City. It's quite odd. I must have my own nano climate within Southampton's micro climate.
