you are right. In general they do the minimum while creaming it off the top for thier industry buddies

The issue to corporation tax is this:

    1. Who are you attracting?

    2. why do they set up in uk

    3. how would tax affect them.

basically after brexit, assuming it continues, the Uk will be its own little island with 60million people. It will not no matter what the bankers or tories say have a shred of euro trading left.
Thus the financial services jobs will be financial services jobs for uk and global trade. I would assume jobs will flow to paris and frankfurt but in the main someon in insurance needs an office in the uk and so forth and so on. if thye have to cover uk they pay uk rates

However look at nissan and whoever across uk. they are supplying where, europe. slap a tax hike on them and they are gone.

thus a higher tax rate will not so badly affect london etc but crucify regions.

you are also right. I reckon it was blair but then that was spin a song and he's not a tory.

When you say I should be concerned, you are right and I guess I should be. As you highlighted above, if whatever sounds good on paper is followed through, there is bound to be some sort of backlash...as in...when you try do something for the good of the people, you will somehow end up with less or worse because that's how the capitalist world we live in works today. Our economy may well be shafted from trying to do the right thing. Same can be said in all aspects of a manifesto. With regards to foreign policy, can you stand for peace, yet stand and watch the world burn at the same time?

Let's say Labour somehow do win this election, and it ends up disastrous. That could open up a window for a new Conservative government, even worse than the current, to come in at the next election. FFS, I feel demoralised now.

the race to the bottom in tax is serious.

    Its all for the corporations

for me the whole issue with brexit is balls. its is an anti globalisation racist vote to someone eliminate all immigrants (including ones not form eu) yet is being used to drive a globalisation agenda for the rich 1%.

    Its tragically hilarious.

the only thing mr corbyn can do as a good commie libtard is reverse brexit and sign up for the full on socialist utopia that is brussels... apparently.

If labu r win and balls it up hugely then it will be troies for 10 years. BUT we are aready looking at tories for ten years anyway :)

this IMO will be corbyn's only shot at winning an election.

I'd love a pack of Hula Hoops. They don't sell them in the US. Might head to that board to discuss one of my favourite childhood snacks.

    #noshowmay has #bottledit so hard

She's actually managed to be less effective than Trump

And at least most of the things he's failed at are repealing Obamacare and building a wall, which means in the meantime people get to live and travel

May will ruin the country, thank **** the election will reel her in rather than her stupid Cameron-style-call-an-unnecessary-vote-what-could-possibly-go-wrong attempt to get a mandate for her failure

N.a... .I hate weak little cocks that sit in pubs and sing the songs and put a fiver in the box...go home and feel they are part of "the cause "..

They don't get bloody..be it doing the deed or being the target of the deed.

    Man deserves arse cancer.

Whereas May as home secretary funded British Libyans to go fight in Tripoli, ignored the creation of Islamic State because the death of bin Laden clearly meant there was nothing more to worry about, and now as PM has cut funding to the police and NHS who deal with saving the attacked people

But yeah best blame Corbyn somehow

    May's just announced

"We cannot and must not pretend that things can continue as they are" - the way things are is the direct result of the last 7 years of her career

But don't worry she had identified the source of the problem and has decided the best thing is to have the government control the internet (any resemblance to the same plan by Trump is purely coincidental)

Is she going to u-turn on police cuts?

If so, is she going to u-turn on her promise of no tax rises for rich people?

Theresa May in Saudi Arabia's pocket and has been covering up their funding of terrorism in the UK

Print these articles off because now she wants control of the internet to "protect" this "sensitive" information

Theresa May says "enough it enough"

That's what the police were saying to her when she was stripping their funding as home secretary

Blame him for what? Your are mixing two ideas together there..

More ****ing what aboutery to give corbyn a shine he simply will never have. Saying The Tories are ****s is not an adequate defence against corbyn being a terrorist loving bastard. It's simply poor deflection.

Oh and btw those under funded policemen responded and shot dead the attackers in 8 minutes.

"what aboutery" far more accurately describes your discussion of Corbyn than the actual home secretary and PM who does deals with Saudi Arabia while covering up the report of their funding of terrorism in the UK

Or did I miss a news report and the IRA is claiming responsibility for the attack?
