Why are can't all you Leeds fans just accept that you've had a poor start to the season. Boro could have won by a few, face it Leeds were poor. Yes Gradel shouldn't have been sent off, but neither should Mcmahon. Having said that I think tomorrow will be a tough game, will be happy to come out with a point and no casualties.

We've had the most cards, but I think Portsmouth have committed the most fouls. We're second of course. I do suspect there will be some flying challenges; we are an undisputably dirty team... and I can't say I mind.

You really think Leeds fans are optimistic about this game? We might be arrogant, but we sure as hell aren't feeling very positive at the moment on the whole. I get the feeling that even if we get three points tomorrow night, it won't convince most of us that a plentiful season is in store.

And neither should Howson. Middlesbrough could have won by a couple more, but they had an extra man on the pitch for the majority of the game. Whenever the numbers were equal we dominated.

 

except we weren't poor at all. You didn't see the game (as it wasn't on TV) or listen to it (unless you're a complete sad act obsessed with our club). We dominated for large periods when the teams were even, and then defended extremely well when they weren't. 13 shots on target only 1 converted from a side that is eyeing automatic, when they had an advantage given to them unfairly. Call it an excuse if you like, the referee was ghastly. It's perfectly reasonable to blame a ref in a game you were dominating for a piss poor card decision or 17.

Also, we have accepted we've had a poor start to the season. What you oblivious Hull fans don't seem to want to accept is that even with suspensions and injuries we still have more attacking quality than you. The delerium from a side who've barely strengthened (at least not enough to be any better than us) and expect tomorrow to be a walk in the park... I'm dumbfounded. Really I am.

 

We didn't have to strengthen hugely as we only needed a keeper (we signed 2), centre back (we signed one), left back (we signed one), winger (we signed one) and a plan B (which we signed) which we all signed whilst not selling any of our good players. You on the other hand haven't strengthened at all. You've got weaker as you've hardly signed anyone and have sold key players for your team (no matter how much you claim to deny it, they started the majority of games for you), combined with the fact that your striker force will be Billy Paynter and McCormack and you now have suspensions, you really don't stand much of a chance.

 

I wouldn't go as far as saying they don't stand a chance, I'm a bit worried about this boy Nunez to be honest. But for Marko to say they have more attacking quality than us is a little bit laughable. I won't go into too much detail but we have a top, proven championship striker in Fryatt, and they have Paynter and McCormack. A couple of their midfielders are skillful, but I don't think they have a Cairney or a Brady in there.

Kilkenny Johnson and Schmeichel were only "key players" because we had noone better. In the grand scheme of things they were gash. We have replaced them all with better. Clayton does the work of both of them combined, and Lonergan is easily better. Schmeichel was not only shockingly average for a man of his lineage, but arrogant to boot and had a poor attitude.

Also "we don't stand a chance" you arrogant ****. **** off, your team is mid table piss poor ****e, and we still have more quality up front with our backups than you do in your first team. "don't stand a chance" and you call us arrogant.
