On tonight performance they look a "Real" threat, Aguero just looks like he can score goals for fun and this was one area they were weak last season.

I think Arsenal will be lucky to finish within the top 5 never mind top 2 or 3.

Chelsea we can never court out, as they have the experince but are an ageing team.

Liverpool I just dont see it, week-in, week-out think they will drop to many points away from home.

Without us going back into the market for a wolrd class middfielder, someone like "Sneijder" to help out pulling the strings for our attacking players I'm worried.

The only good thing is that City are now in the C.L so tey will learn quickly "just like" Tottenham did playing mid-week C.L games then away games to Stoke, Bolton etc are going to be easy. We have mastered this over the years and SAF knows how to play a wining team for a tuesday/wednesday night game and then a P.L game saturday afternoon.

If Arsenal dont beat Udinese and qualify for the C.L then maybe they will push for a spot within the top.4 other wise I think they finish maybe 5th or 6th. But if I'm honested I think Udinese will beat them over the 2 x legs (that's where my moneys going anyway).

    Thoughts, comments Gents welcome.

CL could be fun for City - Messi vs Lescott!? Xavi vs Barry!?

That aside, they look quality up top - Silva, Yaya, and Aguero are all top notch.

True, but I'd love a real title tussle with City. Just love it.

    Alright, Keegan!

Nah, it'd be brilliant to properly put them back in their place, aye.

They are too negative (despite tonight's scoreline) and I think this will cost them points.

City are the main threat, no doubt about it. Chelsea have gone stale, they lack the spark they once had. With Aguero they have one of the best players in the world, and if they can get Tevez back on side again, they could have an outstanding pair of Argies, spear heading there attacks. I'm still confident our team is string enough to retain the title, but we shouldn't underestimate City. Sooner or later all the money they've spent will see them challenge, its enevitable. Money is what wins trophies nowadays, sad but true

City could be one of our main title rivals sure, but they could hit a bad run where they're being too negative again and drop points against teams they should be walking the ball into the net against.

One game in you can't really say, Chelsea looked like the clear title winners after the first month or two last season then they nose dived. Form goes up and down for every team over the course of a season, it's how dramatic those changes in form are and how well you can cope with them. That's why United have been so successfull because we can still grind out a win even when we've played badly. A lot of other teams can't.

I do personally think that Chelsea and City will be our main challengers this season but only time will tell.

One thing is for certain though, Aguero looks like he's going to be a brilliant player for the Premier League.

I agree with you there, look at how they set up from the start with 2 DM's. It was only when Aguero came on that they looked a real threat and as good as he is, he won't have that kind of freedom throughout the season.

They are too defensive but with silva an aguero they did look like they could have scored at any point.. Though they were not exactally up against top opposition so maybe we are getting ahead of ourselves.. Swansea defence has never come up against an attack anything like that. We will see how good they are when they face a sterner test against a physical side like Stoke and indeed another team who play more expansive football against them.

Man Utd have the experience, the know how and the togetherness. Sometimes those things are more important that overall talent.
