Hmm. not exactly stunning performer though from an attacking point of view:

Agreed much room for improvement.

However if you equate the points gained over his 28 starts over an entire season we would have had 90 points. Once again proving he adds value over and above his goals and assists stats.

It also shows he is most effective when starting which I put down to creating space for others by defenders having to drop off a yard or so to cover his blistering pace.

When asked to come on and rescue a game he's ineffectual as the opposition are already deep and therefore his number one asset is negated.

If he'd had a wonder season and scored and assisted more then we wouldn't be in a position to sign him permanently in my opinion. This way he's flown under the radar somewhat and I believe he will be a fantastic signing if it happens.

Impressive statement. With you all the way. I have to admit I wasn't aware of the stats, and hadn't considered the difference between him starting & being sub. Very good point & dead on, now that I think of it.

Good evening Doc. I would love to say Bartley back at Leeds but just like you I don't think he will. The lure of Premiership wages will keep him in the top flight I believe.
What about that lad at bristol titty.six foot six and scores goals.perhaps agent Ayling could have a word.

Interesting points Jammy. For obvious reasons I found him really frustrating to watch this year but knew he offered something because of the results when he was in the team. What shocked me was his stats were highlighted after one game a couple of months ago - can't remember which one and he had 100% passing accuracy (and I do mean to Leeds players just to save Mighty a few moments of his life!).

Really hope you are right about that being his settling in season and he comes truly good now! If he learns to get past a defender and get it into the box quickly or bear straight in on goal he could be devastating in this league.
