Chin up. You need to beat the likes of Wigan, Norwich, QPR, Blackburn. No reason why you can't. None of the above are any better than you.
Swansea are going to struggle unless they actually attempt to beat teams. Far too defensive. I know we (Blackpool) ultimately failed but maybe there's a bit of middle ground.
we have to be pleased keeping it 0-0 for over an hour but class will always shine through in the end.......the lads will take loads of positives from this against the only team that will challenge man utd this season.... Brendan knows now that you have to stay with the pace for the whole game and not just for an hour, ....good first game and well played man city, your class made the difference and your fitness....
"Far too defensive. " We had 50 - 50 possession. We are also away from home 1st game of the season against a team worth about 200 times the value of ours. Go at teams like that gung-ho you'll lose 8 nil. Thought we did ok for the first 20 minutes but they cranked it up. Tate is no left back and was directly to blame for 2 of the goals because he insists on backing away. As predicted. Taylor back next game thank god.
Just speaking from experience. You need to go at teams, if you don't you'll lose as defensively you looked as bad as we were.
Cardiff fan, Plenty of good work, goalkeeper looks solid and plenty of pace against other teams you might have got a result.
nothing to be ashamed of in that game, as dai said we kept it clean for an hour, when they have a team valued at £130m what do you expect, that argie player is class though!
We got stuffed tonight by a team that is going to finish in the top 4 this season a team worth 150 mil and they taught us a lesson..but they wont teach your lot a lesson ....your not in the same league remember
Yes vorm is going to be our busiest player on the pitch this season, though thank goodnes there are only 4 teams of that quality in the Prem!................. please log in to view this image
John, why don't you just **** off you pikey prick, and let real fans discuss football instead , you are just a waste of cyber space!
Not at the mach ..no ...work tommorow...so thats 2 of us i wasn't at the match and you wern't in yates AND no bloob shirts there
we played away against a team going for the title and as far as im concerned we did as expected, nobody is to blame for man city's goals at all they are just a few classes above us and most of the premiership teams. we are on par with the rest apart from the big 4 and we should be happy that we kept the score down to just 3......that is one of the big teams out of the way that everyone else will struggle with also......we have much easier games to come so im very positive...
