He may have been on 30K/week some time ago, but I suspect he has had some incremental pay increases since then (we would have to find all the most recent new contract announcements for him) .
The source I linked is dated 30 April 2017. Obviously I have no way of knowing whether it's accurate, but it would seem to provide a potential explanation for his recent comments. Edit : also the source states that the contract runs to 2021, which is the same period as the deal that he signed at the end of last year : http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/foo...agrees-fiveyear-deal-with-spurs-a3351296.html
Sissoko is apparently urging Poch not to block his move away......... No further comment required on that one I feel..... Lol
Today's 'dead cert' purchase is Kevin Gameiro. He has failed to impress at Atletico Madrid and providing that they have their transfer ban removed, they are keen to offload him. I remember us being linked to him 5 years ago when he was at L'Orient. I recall watching him then and like President De Gaulle thinking "Non". He's 30 now. I can't imagine that this guy is anything but Soldado II. £25m ain't what it used to be but this bloke can't be the answer, can he? On previous 'dead certs' , Bruma, who had actually joined us a few weeks ago is now off to Leipzig. The young Turkish lad, Ünder will be joining 'Anyone but Spurs' any day now.
Sissoko should be begging Levy not to price him out of a move away. So can somebody inform the Spanners that Spurs are planning to buy Moussa Sissoko this summer ??
