Our average is 26.0 years this season. In 2014-15, it was 25.9. In our first two seasons back in the PL, it was lower still. We might be younger than most in the PL, but we're older than most of the teams we've fielded since returning to the PL.

Wouldn't worry about Monk and Beattie coming here. It's purely because they are both ex-saints and have both just left Leeds (assuming Beattie follows monk out the club). Not that Monk would be an awful candidate anyway.
The manager after Puel (whenever that is) will not be any of the usual suspects that others get linked to, so IMO we can forget anyone who has been swirling around the EPL for a while and certainly no one who has links with the club. Sadly the media will carry on linking us to such people.
Oh God no. Though some part of me would love it if he recreated his St James Park celebration at Fratton in the efl cup
K Billy Supersound (Saintsweb itk - a good one usually) says "Havn't been impressed at times but I hope les doesn't bottle it and puel is given another season."
So he knows nothing yet? I just hope some how Puel is told he can stay. But again from what I have been told is he was all but gone.
It sounds from that sentence that Les would be bowing to pressure rather than doing what he wants. I assume the pressure is the fans because if it was the players he surely would just do it.
Can't believe that Reed would bow to a minority of fans who were unhappy. There's more to it if he is to go.
Anyone who seems to think that a manager has a decision on transfers are obviously a bit naïve in my opinion! I thnk you should send that card Helen to Les reed also.
Yeah I agree he won't be doing it because of (some) fan unrest. At least I bloody hope not, you appointed the man, made a hash of the transfer windows. Now bloody back him Les.
