The very fact that my post was removed proves exactly what I said about the big white elephant in the room.

I heard something that the number of fatalities are 29 now but they haven't been announced.

I see they've started reporting the number of injured including those who didn't go to hospital.

A single homemade backpack bomb really couldn't have done much more damage, and to such a young crowd.

Listening to some of the stories on R5L actually made me cry. Disgusting incomprehensible, those poor families.

Adrian Chiles on R5L interviewing a young survivor says to them (I kid you not):

"was it a good concert though"

**** me, I knew he was bad, but never did I think he would stoop to that level.

The guy's a clown. I don't know who thought it would ever be a good idea to put him on live TV or radio.

My 16yr old daughter was at the concert last night and was understandably terrified. I remember when we found out she was safe and my wife was organising somewhere to pick her up, I felt such a wave of relief. But then soon after felt totally devastated for the parents and family of those who weren't so lucky.

It's a sad time at the moment.

My thoughts are with those which were far more affected.

My Mrs was desperately trying to hunt down tickets for this concert to take our daughter who's 9. I'm totally relieved that she didn't manage to get any. Devasted today with the fatalities and impact this has had on families, friends, relatives and the response units. I can't even begin to imagine the pain felt by those. It's just completely senseless.

Totally senseless, she's right in the middle of her exams now, and having Aspergers is finding it very difficult to comprehend.

My wife worked at the M&S on Market St when the IRA decided to blew that up and we had to move away until that was rebuilt.

I think we should move back home.
