Get it right, it was a charge of doing not reporting match fixing and even then he got fully acquitted :p

I can see why some people call the kicking the ball out for JT to get his 26th minute match fixing but where does match fixing begin or stop? If it's an event that can be bet on?

It wasn't done to fix the result. How about bets on how many times Jurgen Klopp will scream in a match, or which so and so player will start in the line up (all probably bet-able events), if some people win off it will that be so called "match fixing"? Or how about liverpool players coming out with Free Suarez T shirts?

If people bet on JT based upon information he gave out, then yes that person spreading that **** out should get done.

He had to serve it at the time. Still he got acquitted :p.

Sort of like how Sahko had to serve a ban even though he was on a substance that wasn't correctly on the banned list? Or did he really take something illegal as he had to serve time off? :p

It's the collusion required to make it happen that is the issue. Regardless of the intent, "fixing" any event within a game is against the rules of the sport.

What about punters who bet on him to score anytime during the game?

Would they have done that it if they knew he was going to have an orchestrated hook on 26 mins?

    Never right, and completely OTT

Sakho is taking legal action against UEFA for that

Conte has fled the country to seek employment under a dodgy Russian billionaire

It was 4 months, and he was acquitted of any wrong doing in court.

oh you mean he managed to bribe someone enough to get it rescinded even though he was banned and did serve it. the Italian FA wanted hi mas national boss so "made it go away"

    more corruption.

And no it was nothing like shako given what he took was not actually ever on a banned list and it was self imposed

Your manager took and active part in corruption by standing back and enjoying the fruits of it.

how are we not shocked then this terry thing occurred... and have to wonder how much money changed hands in italy on this substitution?

He was acquitted in court, so he's therefore innocent.

Chucking **** around that's inaccurate is plain wrong.

"The public prosecutor of the investigation, Roberto Di Martino, had initially proposed a suspended six-month prison term when deliberating last month, but the preliminary hearing judge Pierpaolo Berluzzi on Monday acquitted Conte entirely."

Judge said "nothing to see here" in a special fast-tracked trial. Surprising.

You could say the same about any manager who openly says their swapping their team at half time (international friendlies) with respect to him being hooked. The only thing you could complain about is Sunderland deliberately putting the ball out of play at 26 minutes (Terry was always going to get substituted irrespective of the time), and since there is no spot fixing for keepers kicking the ball out for throws in or an official under/over throws ins.

At most its the terry being subbed at 26 mins, but you could chuck that at any of those weird markets the bookies make like xxx and their t shirts.

What fruits did he enjoy? Maybe he got paid loads of money for it. It certainly wasn't advantageous for his team

As for Sahko, he was self banned by the club, then banned officially for 30 days so he was officially banned :p even if it was extended because the club self imposed it.

Anyway, enough with actual facts versus astro alternative news, i guess if this is what makes you happy as we're champs then go for it.

    I've said my piece

It wasn't advantageous for Barton to lose hundreds of thousands of pounds betting on games he had no control over, but he was still punished for it anyway
