    EPL is based in a country of 60m plus people

    It's top league has 20 teams in it

    Each team earns about 80m a season

    However , take away one freak season and one season where a diddy club spunked millions, only 1 of 4 (the richest) teams has one the title since 1992... and it has been dominated by one team.

    This season the competition is has been for 4th place <laugh>

    Money has warped peoples sense of achievement and success in English football. Clubs are spending £100m+ and are happy just to finish in the top 4. Spurs are considered a big club down there now, aye they are a good team and play good football but when did they last win the league or even a cup for that matter? Doesn't matter, Finishing in the top 4 is considered achievement enough.

    Like i said yesterday, finishing 1st used to be everything, if you didn't finish 1st you may as well finish last. Rewarding mediocrity has changed all that.

    I wouldn't call it ****e, it has its moments. Yesterday though was an example of what I'm saying, the big story of the day being who finishes 3rd and 4th. Does anyone really care other than the fans of the clubs involved?
