    I am actually glad we are in CL qualifying. Have you noticed that every time we automatically qualify for the CL, we have a **** transfer window? Thats because we end up signing too many CL wannabees.

    Being in the play offs puts us in a position to judge the character of our potential targets. The ones with the mentality we need will feel that they can have a positive effect on our chances of qualifying from the play off

    Arsenal make a **** tonne of money

    They made 25mil profit last year and had 190mil in free cash.

    They will notice the no cl but it will not mean that much financially

    Negative.... Good Luck to Ajax. A Club that's being run properly, constantly produces great talent and doesn't need to spend a kings ransom to get to a EL final.

    Age is irrelevant. Scholes was still the best midfielder in the league even at 36. That's why we won the title in his last year <ok>

    This is going to be truly tight. I don't see the mancs as favourites. Ajax has a great team spirit, and fast forwards. Their defence may not be that good but the mancs have not been firing on all cylinders.

    Ajax to win with lots of goals. 4-3. Otherwise the mancs overtake us in the CL stakes as well as win 2 trophies :bandit:

    Astro ( HIAG), Why the **** on the day we take the Wenger cup from the man himself, would you create this thread?

    I'm struggling to remember a bigger game in recent memory for the mancs than Wednesday.

    They win and it;s a 2 trophies (inc a European one which are hard to come by nowadays) and CL group qualification and nobody gives a ****.about where they finished in the league.

    OR

    They lose and it's a LC (not a great trophy but the only ****ing thing wev'e won in the last 10 years) and 6th with a hugely expensive squad.

    Let's just enjoy the moment.

    I am always very sceptical of "star strikers" from the Dutch league, the success rate seems about 50/50 but the 50 that fail really fail.
