'Arry wasn't ex England when he mugged - sorry managed - us though, was he? Ah, you mean Glenn Hoddle? Didn't "fan power" prevent his return? If, in response to fan unrest, the current board sack a manager who finishes 8th after his first season in the PL, with a club who sold their two leading goalscorers in the summer, then I don't hold out much hope of a courageous decision regarding his replacement. Blue ink btw. Everywhere.
My plan for post Stoke is: pay out on the finishing positions competition, log out of this site, drop Saints from my Twotter feed. Spend summer sitting in the garden and generally pottering about then pop back on here a week before the season restarts to see who we've lost, who we've signed, which posters' heads have melted and to get ready for the new season. It's a good way to spend summer. Vin
Clearly the happy clappers back then had a similarly weak and feeble game as they do now. Perhaps YOU should have done more to make sure he was appointed? Why didn't you do more? WHY??????????????????????????????????
Well that would just be silly. The wage bill would be huge. What would they do, take a game each during the season?
Silva says "No" to Watford. Must have a better offer from elsewhere? http://sportwitness.co.uk/portugal-...watford-hull-boss-expecting-seductive-offers/
Managers can't beat player power nowadays so it seems? Club will not rush to replace Puel. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...tml?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490
If Leicester wouldn't back Ranieri there is absolutely no hope for any manager anywhere in the world.
Not quite sure how having a new manager for each game of the season differs from the norm in Italian football, now that I think about it.
If you can believe these click-bait articles, Claude is being considered by Inter. Nice job. Apparently, Claude has been pee'd off all season because he wasn't sufficiently backed in the transfer market. Now that's something I could believe: http://sportwitness.co.uk/southamptons-puel-set-approached-european-giants-unhappy-transfers/
As per TSS, it's the usual response to click bait - we look at it, ignore the "news" and wait for something concrete.
On the whole I would say that our responses to news is uneven. There is some click-bait that people take up and run with, and then there is the click-bait that is ignored. I guess the 'Puel to Inter' click-bait was just not interesting enough.
