Flavio's fat backside disappearing up the steps into the entertainment suite when we went 3 down - hope I never have to see it again.

Seeing the obvious pride of the growing number of blue and white shirted R's fans as I travelled in from St Albans (Arsenal territory) first on the train then on the tube and the interest of the hordes of tourists that caused. Being in the EPL means something in the wider world.

My pride was soon dented however, when the unchanged prehistoric facilities of the Ellerslie came into view again. My partner was trying to explain to a Spanish lady why most of the women's toilets didn't flush on the opening game of the season of a a premier League club.

I thought that the fans were outstanding all day, and was really nice to see them not get on the players backs at full time. I thought that the front 2 looked quite lively and Derry was a revelation.
Great thread roller. Come On You Rs!!
