I mean I don't wish us to drag out the recruitment of his replacement (should he go).....affects transfers in/out, preseason etc.
Can't say he looks happy but then that might be that he just doesn't like doing media. I won't be happy if he's sacked as he doesn't deserve it in my opinion. If it's mutual that's a different matter.
Can't that's his most endearing feature (looking happy) ! Maybe it's still in the balance & the next two games will decide, by players performances? Would be nice if they gave all.
Presumably we'd be in for Silva as he was on the list (I think) when Ron went? If so, I'd presume it would be fairly simple and quick with Hull down. Then again, they say they are constantly looking at lots of managers, so who knows.
Except for West Brom. What ever happens to West Brom? The most exciting thing to happen to them in recent history was the Odemwingie debacle back in 2013.
Agent Talk? Frustrated with clubs transfer policy? Understandable. https://forzaitalianfootball.com/2017/05/inter-consider-approach-for-southampton-manager/
Sadly not. Les is quite pally with Roy. But I doubt that Roy would take the job after his recent experiences.
Being slow this morning, so it took me a minute .. Interesting that the likes of you and I look back at the '84 semi-final as such a critical game as the daylight robbery that day almost certainly cost us a second FA Cup, and arguably the services of our greatest manager. I've long been convinced that the infamous 4-3 at Tranmere, which belongs in the annals of most absurd results of all time, cost us an FA Cup win that year. Had we won, as we should have done by a country mile, I believe we'd have gone on to win the Cup, and maybe Glenn wouldn't have upped sticks with the promise of that. Glenn's situation is also echoed in the current situation to a degree. Remember the "fan power" that meant we didn't re-appoint him when Spurs stuck him back on the revolving door? I always thought that was madness. Similarly, as you know, I've expressed my views on Claude. If he chooses to go because he and his family want to go back to France (and I wouldn't blame him!) then I shall be sad but philosophical. I would certainly want to say thanks for the Wembley memory and for the way he has developed players. But if the Board accede to fan power again I shall be seriously pissed off!
This summer I plan to watch a bit of cricket, bit of flat racing. Football will not exist. If I can stay away from the internet, anyway
