Klopp Ready to Agree $103million Stars Signing for Liverpool Posted on May 17, 2017 by Omer please log in to view this image Liverpool will collide against Middlesbrough in their final game of the season at Anfield and a win for the Merseysiders will guarantee them Champions League Football next season. The Reds have won their last four league games away from home but surprisingly, the recent home record has been poor. Klopp’s men have only earned two points from their last three home games and they must step up big time against Boro. As far as the transfers are concerned, Liverpool badly need to improve their back line and Klopp is ready to sign not one, but two quality PL stars. The German boss signed two center halves last summer in the form of Matip and Klavan. Now, he is ready to sign two more this summer. According to Daily Mail, Liverpool are prepared to sell Sakho and want a fee of around 30 million pounds for the French international. Moreover, Klopp then wants the likes of Virgil van Dijk and Michael Keane to strengthen his defense. Van Dijk and Keane have a combined worth of 80 million pounds ($103million). The Burnley is rated around 30 million pounds (Telegraph) and the Saints star is rated around 50 million pounds (Telegraph) Earlier this month, we covered a report (via Read Liverpool) claiming that Virgil has agreed to join the Reds if they qualify for the CL. Moreover, Mirror claimed that the Merseysiders are close to sealing a deal for Keane. Before his injury, Van Dijk was arguably the best central defender in the Premier League this season. Unfortunately, a foot injury ended his campaign in the month of January. On the other hand, Keane has been impressive for the Clarets in the current campaign. Liverpool have so far conceded 42 league goals in 37 games this season and the stats have to improve for them to have any chance of winning the league next season. Klopp's top targets are supposed to be VJD Andrew Robertson Naby Keita Timo Werner Ryan Sessegnon Not necessarily in that order
I was thinking that but then thats 6 or 7 players coming in, it would disrupt things. We have Lucas, Milner, Henderson, Can, Wiji, Lallana and Coutinho can also play in the mid. That's more than enough cover.
Monaco ace Kylian Mbappe would be the perfect signing for Liverpool, according to former Red Vladimir Smicer. Mbappe has enjoyed a breakthrough season in France, scoring 23 goals in 39 appearances to help Monaco climb to the top of Ligue 1. please log in to view this image Kylian Mbappe makes Monaco promise and sends message to Manchester United and Real Madrid The 18-year-old also starred in the Champions League before his side’s memorable European campaign was ended by Italian giants Juventus. The young striker has emerged as a target for a host of elite clubs, with Manchester United, Chelsea and Real Madrid believed to be in a battle to secure his services. Former Liverpool midfielder Smicer believes Liverpool should also attempt to sign Mbappe, suggesting the absence of a prolific forward cost the Reds a shot at the title this season.
Lucas needs to go. Milner can't play CM Hendo is a crock Gini and Can are all rounders Lallana isn't that creative Coutinho is the only real playmaker We need real quality to come in. If we have a 3 man midfield next season, Can holding, Keita B2B and Coutinho as playmaker. Then you have players like Lallana Hendo and Gini rotating. Good options.
I have a soft spot for Lucas, I do not mind if he is giving a one year extension, and be on the bench occasionally.
Lucas still has yea rleft. If no one comes in then keep him as squad player. If anyone offers some cash and he wants to go play first team football then let him go. He's been great for us in his 10 years here, few ups and downs but deserves respect to make his own decision on next year I think.
I wouldn't say he's been great. Hardly featured in our good teams and stood out in our worst teams. He shouldn't make his own decision - the club should be the one to decide if he leaves or goes.
I would say it's more the lack of quality in the position. We are consistently linked with that Keita of RB Leipzig
I like Lucas but there comes a point where we need to look at our options. Can is going to play DM and is our best option Hendo is going to be his competition, the Brazilian kid Allen is going to be a 3rd option so do we really need Lucas as well? Can with Hendo as cover is strong, that position is sorted and I can't see us buying there.
