So, who is / isn't renewing for next season?

Have to admit that I left mine & my son's renewal to the last day, but our love for the club and support was the overwhelming factor in the end.

At the end of the day I will always support the team and the manager. I also believe that if Puel remains in charge that the style of football will get better as the signs have been there in patches this season. I hope the board will give Puel there full backing, enabling him to mould his own team for the new season.

Writing this, I'm already looking forward to the new season. COYR

Bought and ready for a summer away from this forum while the place becomes a raging inferno, a return a week before the new season and a terrific season's football, hopefully with Claude still at the helm. If not, I'll go and enjoy the football anyway.

Annoys me when people say "oh i won't renew cos I don't know who'll be playing for us next season".

Now, my understanding is, you buy a season ticket FOR THE CLUB, not to see VVD play, or see Bertrand play etc. The name on the front is more important than the name on the back, shouldn't matter who plays for us.

    I've renewed.

Debating whether to get one or not, I have never owned one due to playing football on Saturdays. Was considering last year but opted to carry on playing, I'm too young to "retire" really, but the flip side is my dad is getting on and not sure how many more seasons he would be up for a few hundred mile round trip every 2 weeks.

Plus the football is **** under Puel so there's that

Sadly we won't be renewing :(

Nothing to do with anything other than doing the right Dad thing with my son's activities. We will be members and go to as many games as we can though and be able to use my Dad's tickets from time to time.

Did very much the same i.e. renewed ours last Friday, so you "beat" me by a couple of days! Must admit, for the first time in many, many years it actually crossed my mind not to. Not because of the regular season exodus, managerial uncertainty, etc but really because of Puel's style of play. I think we've definitely lost something this season & I'm not sure it'll come back next but let's see. Puel came here with a bit of a 0-0, 1-0 reputation & that's sort of what we're seeing. Still, as you said, it's about SFC & the fans & not the individual players, managers, board, etc. COYS.

Ps. Really hoping for a result against Mourinho & then 8th on Sunday. That would be a little icing to finish the season with.

Very tempted to buy my first ever season ticket! Well I had one as a kid but my old man paid.

Having only just graduated I am now moving to southampton to live with my partner. Im yet to get a job so can't justify a season ticket, I may have to settle for a half season ticket later in the season so I can watch us clinch the top four!

We have ours and it cost nearly £1500 for two. That equates to £30 a week over the year or one third of my pension. It takes some determination to keep tucking the money away every week so that I can renew again next year.

Renewed ours almost as soon as they were available. As it is, there are few things that would persuade me not to. I find the talk about not renewing on the basis of the entertainment this season a bit shallow to be honest. Some of the games have been poor it's true but certainly not all, and if you can't get enjoyment from a cup final then when can you?
