We fought for five years mate. That last season was just one downwards step after several other downwards steps. I don't think Moyes did a good job. I just don't think he's to blame.
He's not to blame. Bu neither is he the answer to our managerial problems. Not so much 2 wrongs making a right. More a case of 2 wrongs making 1 right bloody mess of things!
Can't disagree with this and pretty much nailed.. I think Moyes disinterest, coupled with an owners disinterest had got the players so disinterested in the cause, that the fans didn't have a chance to be interested.. My take on things.. Oh and I don't like Short, saw a quick buck but has ran it like there was a rabbit up his arse, maybe needs a quick buck in his ear to **** some sense into him..
The manager situation won't be right regardless who comes in. Conte, Ferguson, Mourinho, I don't care. We were going down, no one was stopping that for longer than a season due to the way the club is ran right from the top. Yes our manager situation is a problem but it will be until the board situation is improved.
How can you hate that? Easily. Nah I don't hate the guy, I find him frustrating but he's too meh to hate.
Not entirely sure on that. Moyes has got 24 points out of the squad, you've lost by narrow margins on quite a few occasions this season and you've drawn a few games against poor sides so I think a world class coach would have kept you up, but after that, it probably would have only got worse. If ever there was a club that needed to have a complete refurb it's probably you lot this summer.
I'm clinging to the hope that when Short and Baine see Moyes again after reading his requirements its to give him short shrift and ban him - too serious for a run on puns this mess up
I'm sure they'd keep us up and then be on their merry way like the other managers we've had and that one year reprieve under constantly different managers has done us more harm than good. We need the ship steadying. If that means a couple of years of the dull depressing twat, I'll take it.
Halley@@@@@@lulliah, at last a fair observation on this season. Match 1 Borini injures himself taking a free kick and out for six months, Pickford lets in a soft goal on debut. Pretty much sums up how the rest of the season would go via injuries and errors. All Moyes's fault of course.
