Jak: We should hold onto as I don't think we'd get what he's worth. Robbo: At least £20m, there's a lot of interest in him. Harry: We should hold out, he's worth a ****ing fortune... Sam: Around £20m. A word to anyone who scoffs at my valuations. Players who are at best 'good', go for **** loads these days.
I see Elmo almost every day and he cuts a very lonely figure ... regards the players I don't really care much who does what , and I'm sure the feelings are reciprocated.
Maybe that's why there's been speculation about Jak. We've got to get rid of him and greegsy and cos of the contract and no one will buy hi we keep Marshall and promote the young kid as back up
Hardly a loss. Every single dead ball he seems to take his first man and he rarely puts his shot on target in open play. Other than flashes of pace, I've not seen much.
I wouldn't because of the difference we're paying them. Even if he's better, if we drop Marshall for a young kid then nobody will ever sign him and we're stuck with him on big money for years. The best way to sell someone on big money is to play them.
We'd be a point behind Swansea right now and Spurs to play next. Interestingly, it would have meant Watford (playing now) still weren't mathematically safe.
Two behind.. but then would Swansea have drawn against Man U, being 5 points behind rather than 3? Would we have played with more freedom vs Sunderland, being 4 points ahead (assuming Swansea still drew with Utd)? And then would Swansea have cracked playing Everton knowing they had to win? All ifs and buts. We ****ed it up.
