If Man U win the Europa and one of the top four win the FA Cup, how far up the League would we have to be to get into Europe? Could we get there with 8th?
Stand down that hope for next season. Not far enough. Hey, Chelsea won the Premier League and they weren't in Europe.
We'll be back, after we win the FA cup next season. God that would be great wouldn't it. Safe in the knowledge we will try.
Top seven will be very strong. Cup is the way to go. Especially if we have to move the best player on every summer.
Maybe so, but I'd like to know that we did it via the league. Otherwise one or two on here might be calling for a new manager.
Southernmost part of Europe.? I would have thought the Canary Islands are way more southerly, off the coast of West Africa. Do they count though.? Then there's that Greek Island south of Crete [name.?], which must make it south of Cyprus.
Then it's that Greek Island. I've since looked it up. It's called Gavdos. South of Crete. Cyprus has links with Europe, but is apparently not part of it. Somewhere in the back of my mind I had a vague feeling about that. It depends on the definition.
Well if we are going that route what about The Falklands, South Georgia, hmm who owns Antartica these days?..
Dunno. I actually thought Cyprus was part of Europe, but I had a nagging doubt, so I looked it up. Apparently not, but it's loose. Depends on the definition. In some respects it is, on others it's not. In some respects the Canary Islands are part of Europe, but generally, they are acknowledged to be part of Africa, even though they are Spanish.
