Now that he's almost gone, what's your favourite memory of Cesc? For me, it's coming off the bench against Villa. Turned the game around in something like 20 minutes - inspiring.
I most liked Cesc 2 seasons ago when he carried us for half the season. Had something like 17 goals and 19 assists. His most memorable game was probably against Milan though.
I know it's not as good, but I put my faith in those two. I thought of rannawilsey, rannawilbo, rannajamsey. They just didn't work so well.
The Milan game was something special as was the pen vs Barcelona. My favourite would have to be the game vs the Spuds. He carried us that season...
Anyone remember that Charity Shield game when we beat United? Fab must of been about 17, with that ridiculous mullet, he was one of the best players on the park that day.
THAT goal against Milan in 08. That goal against Spuds in 07/08 season Or in our.CL run un 06 when he completely owned Zidane and Vieira. The Aston Villa game was special too. And of course that run from half way line against Spurs, damn that was amazing. Cant blame him for wanting to go back but it's partly his 'fault' that we were seeing a laughable fee for him. I think in that regards he let us down. I wish all the best even though i believe he will be a substitue there but i wouldn't regard him up there with the Berfkamps, Henrys, Vieiras, Petits etc. They won trophies with us and also played here during their prime. Cesc left us too early, he should have gone back when he can replace Xavi.

This was without doubt his best moment, the way he made Ronaldo (who later won multiple PFA awards) as well as Scholes (Who I consider to be the best midfielder to ever play in the PL) look so ordinary was just staggering, that was when I noticed his real potential. They had to sub Scholes because he was getting so overrun by Fabregas and co in the midfield, not many midfielders have ever managed to do that to Scholes, let alone a 19 year old. And this is coming from a Chelsea fan. This is a massive blow for the PL
The Milan game. I couldn't see how we were going to score, they just looked so solid. It really was a 'David vs Goliath' moment.
