Not as funny as us simply giving him away.

There was so much injury time the feed cut off and was replaced by a test pattern.

PS Mrs Slocombe was in goal for Blackpool. No sign of her pussy though,

Forest Green Rovers have been promoted to the Football League for the first time in their history. Nailsworth, the town in which they are based, has a population of just over 5,000, making it the smallest town to have ever hosted a league team.

It's a vegan club, which means no meat served on match days. ****s sake.

Thought we released him on a free and he signed for a conference side.

What exactly could we have got for him?

Congrats to Billy Heath for getting Halifax to swap places with North Ferriby.

At least they're a bit different, the owner is quoted as saying 'getting to league 1 will be easy'. Be fun to keep an eye on, there's plenty of money behind them.

Considering he took their best players it was virtually expected that North Ferriby would get relegated. And Halifax aren't exactly used to the level they were playing at.

It's a bit of a fiddle to say they're from such a small town, they're on the outskirts of Stroud and are the only football club in south Gloucestershire, if they have further success they could easily pull bigger crowds (they aint no North Ferriby).

Stroud isn't exactly massive though (half the size of Beverley) and there's a strong RU culture down that part of the world

I actually laughed out loud watching that.

Reminiscent of a clown running across a minefield.

So, Nailsworth and Stroud, 4 miles away, totals 20,000. Bransholme FC should be aiming for the Championship with their population. Include Sutton, closer than Stroud to Nailsworth, and other people living within 4 miles of Bransholme and Bransholme FC should be aiming for the PL as they probably have a larger catchment than Burnley FC.

They're building a stadium with a view to increasing future capacity to 10,000, so they obviously think they can draw people from further afield than just Nailsworth and Stroud.

Can't be much of a meat eating area then. Maybe they are anticipating the massive away following when they play us in a few years time.
