Top man who committed himself to the club and the area. Would have loved to see him stroll out there again.
Had a busy weekend, Tis a shame I couldn't enjoy the match with the lads again. Looking forward to reading the thread. Was an emotional game to watch...but the fact that we are just rebuilding over the existing ground makes our move bearable to me. I for one will call the new stadium White Hart Lane. I hope everyone else does too. We can get away with calling it that and it does irk with me when grounds lose their identity to a Sponsor. Kills the soul of the place. Goodbye White Hart Lane, long live White Hart Lane. To the match...I'm glad we won...it felt like we were playing to the occasion a bit, which hit home after United's goal and we kind of re focused. Proud of this team and not much to be critical about, I'm just glad we maintained our unbeaten run to honour the Ol' Lady. As for the players....if it's true about Kyle Walker....then fine. Trippier can make RB his own...apart from the electric pace, he is better in many aspects of the game than Walker. Kyle needs to remember that he was a useless speed merchant with no brain when Poch came and taught him the game. Shame on you lad...we will be above City next year too, enjoy the monies. COYS.
Talksport have been covering it since Friday evening...so I'd like to say a 'thank you' to them too as I've been trying to catch every last drop of memory of the old place this weekend. Danny Kelly did a fantastic tribute to WHL throughout yesterday
