If sturridge could give 30 league games a season he woyld be a klopp player.

Klipp woyld build a system around him.

Mother's Day over here today so I was looking at the world's largest patch of endangered Rocky Shoals Spider lillies left instead of football.

Was a pleasant day but wish I could have seen Ham getting stuffed.

Sounds like a good match. Hopefully increased the price of Studge a few quid.

    I'm 50/50 on Sturridge.

No no doubt that if he could play 75% of games a season we'd keep him. Quality player when on the pitch, even if he ha almost that bit of killer speed. Infront of goal still deadly (although missed a sitter in 2nd half). 1v1 id want him ahead of any other striker in league to be honest.

He's shown last few games that he's still got that quality even after his injuries, and id prob keep him. If we were to sell it shouldn't be on the cheap, talking £30m and not sure anyone would pay that. If we sold for less and he stayed fit they'd have a bargain of a deal.

His quality along wth extra games in Europe (CL or EL) could be needed.

Would still need to buy a quality star striker this summer (Lacazette please) because Origi isn't ready to lead line all season if Sturridge isn't fit.

It puts us in a good negotiating position

Either a high offer and we sell, or we just keep him because although he's on high wages you'd spend more to bring in someone of equal quality in transfer fee

Should we get CL then Sturridge should stay. We need depth and he gives us that. The fact that he gets injured a lot should bring him down to earth with expectations of any large superstar salary and that he's not a first choice players. It's up to him really. I get the impression it won't be Klopp that moves him on, but rather Sturridge making his own decision

He needs a full season of playing really well before he thinks of superstar salary.

We need to sell Sturridge. At best he's currently a 4th choice forward. I suspect Klopp would rather play Mané as a striker instead of Studge. Firm: Origi: Mané: Studge

We need a new "real" striker. That will put Studge in 5th. That's assuming Ings doesn't return from injury and supplant him.

5th place striker on a first team salary is a luxury even for a Champions League team.

The guy is quality when fit. If we can get any sort of run of games from him we should hang on to him.
His wages, though ridiculous, are negligible compared to our turnover and largely irrelevant when deciding whether or not to keep him.

Origi hasn't progressed enough yet. He's still very one dimensional in that he's only good with space to run into.

What would say about bout Sturridge is torsy showed yet again that he's a different player when he has a partner, or at least players who can swap with him. Made a good point on motd that he could drift wide or deep today without it being detrimental to team because Origi would then stay central ip top and occupy defenders. Too often when they play up top on their own they drift and leave big gap in middle with no player to fill it.

If everyone's fit it's nice problems to have. diffetent formations and systems. 433 with Mane Firm Cout up top. Or diamond today with Mane Studge up top and Firm in whole with Cout deeper.

Depends how Klopp wants to set up next year but if Studge wants to stay and we don't get a silly offer then is keep him. He's still best striker in the squad and said 5/6 games ago that He could be the one to score us a couple important goals to secure CL. He's got 1, wouldn't put it past him betting against next Sunday.

Truth be told, I wouldn't complain if we sold Sturridge AND Origi and got two new strikers. Not going to happen though.

Sturridge playing yesterday reminded me of his partnership with Suarez in the 2013/2014 season.
Injuries has been unkind to him. From West Ham game he can play with Origi, When Firmino is fit
on Sunday against Middlesbrough who is going to give way for Sturridge to come in?.

It's one half-decent performance ; at the penultimate game of the season.
Where has he been all season? exactly

    One season, one-game wonder.
    Get rid.

He was selfish yesterday. Sturridge had a better opportunity of scoring. He should have passed to Sturridge.
