I'm like most in knowing **** all about this current Ajax team. Anything can happen over a high pressure 90 minutes (or more). The Dutch must be a half decent outfit though to have got this far. Interesting match up, I shall be watching it. The most amusing thing is MU's season hangs on this game, its massive for them
Not really, we already have a trophy in the bag. What is funny is that your season hangs on a game against a relegated team and it's massive for you
For us, no. If we manage to win the EL it will be satisfactory though, CL group qualification and two trophies, which other team apart from Chelsea can better that?
Should be a great final, a truly historical side with a rich European reputation who play in red and white versus a shower of ****e from the Salford Sunday leagues
So we can have on record that if you win the EL you consider Man Utd to have had the 2nd best season of every PL team? #deluded
Yep, sad but true (though we do have a pot in the cabinet). What's your opinion of your season hanging on the Middlesboro game?
Enlighten me as to who has had better, Spurs getting CL group, City getting same, You lot or Arsenal getting CL play-offs ?
Our season only hangs on it if all of our rivals win all of their games. That's what happens every season, not something new New is the most expensive squad in history coming 6th
The thing is.... Utd dont have a worrysone game for anyone. They have a good solid defence that conceeds fewer goals but is not very active or mobile. The basics seem to be a 3 man midfield with a deep lying midfielder in schone and the 20 goal klaasan and ziyech as no 8s or box to box players as it were. Dolberg plays up front and traore is another familar name In the end utd will be going in with the dinkeys brothers at the back and sideshow in midfield. Darmian on left side and really.... its not dynamic. Ajax surprised lyon and got a big lead 4-1 but ****ed iip return to scrape through On one night anything could happen so you have to get the feeling that first goal will be decisive As usual i think utd will rely on de gea at times and try to break with rashford and lingard Utd will be a threat just from sideshow route one so.... well.. i just feel the choice of ref will have a big bearing as utd could easily bully them off park if let at it.
By being competent football teams who don't need to fluke a few cup results to paper over the cracks It's funny how many Mancs are simultaneously saying "this will be a great season if we win the EL... but next season had better be a lot different or else #mourinhoout "
cannot think of anything worse than PSG losing the league to Monaco... oh wait - there is Jose & Co at OT.
