As for today, we were always going to get spanked when we went to everyone up top and go for broke. It was always **** or bust. Making a big deal out of today's result is missing the point!!! I'd rather see us lose by four than not give it a go and take a chance.
I'm almost pleased we can start afresh- some of these players have disgusted me today. Appalling lack of effort and endeavour.

Half the players don't even look bothered after the final whilstle, it means nothing to them and that's exactly how they've played the last few weeks.
It's watching the fans clutching at straws. Yesterday the Sunderland fans (well the ones still in the stadium) spent about the last 20 minutes chanting Defoe's name. Today the City fans have done the same but with Silva's name. Both sets of fans know it will be difficult without those two and both will be off.
I was relaxed prior as I knew we were down. But 4-0? It's hard to even register a feeling. Sort of like dying by dropping head first into a volcano's molten lava. Where does your pain begin and end? Or is it so much, you don't feel any?
