At this stage I don't really want to go to the Tottenham game cos I know that for the majority of the team it will be their last game for us then god knows how the Championship will go. Probably have to rely on bringing the youth through which is not a bad thing. Can't see the Allams spending any money or anyone wanting to buy us.
This result doesn't change a great deal for me , whatever happened we needed to win both games and get to 40 and if we did that we would still have a chance , it'd a big ask for palace to win at Man united even with a weakened team , if we got to 40 we would be very unlucky to go down ... In not deluded and don't think we will get to 40 , but that's been the target all week , Sunderland winning today would have been a bonus , but it doesn't change city's objective for me
We can blame lady luck .. poor decisions .. injuries etc .. but I'm sorry the poor decisions made at the start of the season have ultimately cost us dear .. it's to Marco Silva's credit that we gave ourselves a chance .. alas last week the players bottled it .. and all season we have suffered with a lack of goals .. again I point to the owners as to where the blame lay fannying around with low budgets and half arsed decisions on management until it was too late
Unless Marco is somehow persuaded to stay, or (even more unlikely) the Allams **** off, we'll start the new season with Jon Beale as caretaker manager.
The best we can probably hope for in this game is Sunderland get a fluke goal with 15 mins to go and all of a sudden the nerves kick in for Swansea, with that in mind Im going 4 - 0 Swansea!
Can point to last weekend all we want, but our form this second half of the season should be good enough to see us safely in midtable. We've been playing catch up since January and it looks like we'll just fall short. Crying shame we've not had Marco and this team all season.
Still not dead.. We win tomorrow its as you were. Swans lose at home to WBA and we win against Spurs... or Palace lose at Man U... we'd still have taken where we a re at Day 1 of the season instead of looking at breaking Derbys points record. As has always been said on here, its the hope that kills you, but where there's still hope..
the season was buried when Marshall kept getting on the team sheet - the squads given it a good go since november
Nah. We've missed the Gary Rowett window so we'll install Tom Rowell and claim he's had his name changed for the Asian market.
