No, the Prem would have five representatives.
Spain did this season with Sevilla winning the EL. I think, can't think who was 4th in La Liga last year!

IF we got fourth AND won the EL fifth place would not get CL though.

A Spurs fan walked into my office today crowing how it was funny how so called big clubs were suddenly after winning the Europa league.

Which is a trophy. Which would make two.

Spurs have zero chance of winning one and haven't had a sniff for what, twenty years?

Funny how piss poor Mikey mouse clubs suddenly see coming second as a success. <whistle>

...as long as you don't embarrass English football like happened last season you'll do for me ...thank Christ Leicester City put that particular humiliation to bed by showing Sevilla that not every English club will drop their proverbial pants and take it up the gaping arse crack eh? ... :)

Spurs - for finishing 2nd reaching another historic milestone in our Prem history
Leicester - for reaching the quarter finals of the CL, being (in Euro terms, little better than Brentwood Town)
Arsenal - but only if they win the FA Cup and finish top 4
Chelsea - for winning the Prem title

The reason why I have denigrated Chelsea's achievement to 4th best is because (a) they did not play in Europe (not having been good enough to qualify), and did not have the distraction of Euro footy, like we did, and (b) the position they finished last season was not representative of their true quality - they basically downed tools in order to sack-off their manager in a craven and cowardly manner.

Chelsea for winning a trophy - the PL
Arsenal for winning a trophy - the FA Cup ([HASHTAG]#icandreambutitwonthappen[/HASHTAG])
United for winning a trophy - the Europa League/Milk Cup

honourable mentions -
Leicester for doing better than any other PL team in CL
Sours for playing great football and finishing above Arsenal for the first time in 22 years

@gooner4ever
what if Arsenal fail to win the FA Cup and finishes outside the top 4?

Would you say that, say, West Ham has had a better season than you, for avoiding relegation?

I probably would.

I think we're all conveniently forgetting that Arsenal were humped out of Europe on the back of the most embarrassing aggregate score the competition has yet witnessed.

If the gunners consider this a successful season in the face of this catastrophe it is clear to see why they have fallen so far so quickly

Indeed beaten by the mighty Bayern one of the top three clubs in Europe. Spurs however contrived to be knocked out of the group stages (easiest group) because the manager was saving players for the Chelsea game at the bridge. Then were knocked out of the Uropey cup by the mighty Gent who are plumbers and postmen. This is far more embarrassing hiag. <ok>
