It would do if our play makers are delivering good balls and the player isn't anywhere near it because then that's poor positioning.

Origi makes the runs but our players next release the ball quicky or even looking forward.

My criticisms of origi are about urgency shown not runs he makes par se. His ability to hold the ball up is next to non existant

    Surely that's a rhetorical question.<laugh>
Sad thing if it were other way around I would want Everton to qualify so would want us to win even if I didn't think we could.

He could sneak in a goal when least expected. We have nothing to lose.

This match is now our FA, League Cup, champions league Final all rolled into one. Our whole season rests upon it. If we do miss CL next season, it would be a failure and tomorrow we just to have to go all out to beat the Hammers.

A stance that will be somewhat revised, one suspects, when we don't get Top Four. :emoticon-0112-wonde

If we don't make CL this season then, based on all previous transfer windows under FSG, I struggle to see how we will make it next season. Either way, a serious assesment of our transfer policy, our defensive strategy and our ability to adapt to taking on counter attacking opposition needs to be done.

I agree that Sturridge must start. I'd even consider the possibility of starting him alongside Origi. We need to start adding some unpredictability to our style of play, particularly against counter attaccking opposition, and having a second striker means Origi will hopefully not play predominantly with his back to goal, where he is at his worst.

Sadly Arsenal won both their away games like I thought they would. I think that's top 4 as good as theirs now

Without wishing to be too melodramatic, I'd put it in these terms: if we don't get CL football next season (and by that I also mean QUALIFYING for the knockout stages if we somehow scrape fourth), then FSG and, to some extent, even Jurgen need to really examine whether they can take the club any further. FSG have had six and a half years now - we're barely treading water and, the odd League Cup final apart, we're no closer to winning anything than with Stadler and Waldorf. And, heresy as it may be to some on here, many of Jurgen's decisions and strategies are totally befuddling. I truly feel no more optimistic now than I did in Brendan's final full campaign.

Makes you bloody laugh, Arsenal. They always manage to pull it out of the bag somehow. As for the Mancs, they may have been pants in the league but they have a trophy and will probably walk away with another, the finals of which we blew last year. That to me shows the difference between them and us, we just don't have the personnel when it comes down to it. We wasted the cups this season.

Overall, I would say we should feel disappointed even if we do get top 4.

And then Klopp goes and says new players are dependent on whether we get top 4; no ****, Sherlock. Then he adds well I can't very well say to the players now guess what I'll sell you so I can have him. Why the **** not! There's a list as long as your arm who shouldn't be at Anfield. Unless he's winding us all up.

Sorry. Think it's been a massive chance wasted.

Six years of being made to feel grateful for the bail out. I personally think they've had their day.

    Fyi.

    Its in liverpools hands... :)

Its time to man up a bit and face the firing squad... no point blubbering as you go out to face it.

    Win or bust.
