That's true... I will say it right now Chelsea will be favourites for the CL next year if we beat Bayern, Barca, Real and Juve in last 4 knockout rounds.

You're right, Might as well just retire the club and save yourselves the money and hassle of never winning the league this side of the century

maybe we should put a seeding system into cups to encourage teams to try harder.

 

If you take games out somewhere you have to put them back in somewhere else.
Klopp, being of a Krauty nature, likes the idea of a winter break. I just don't see the point in our climate. Perhaps the number of games over a short period is excessive, but a break would only mean we'd have to cram them in elsewhere, extend the season, or reduce the league still further.
It's the price of success, and the filthy rich clubs are meant to have a squad to cope with it.
Anyway, I like the Christmas programme, if there was no footie we'd just have to meet family and have "fun".

One way to reduce the pressure on players would be to get rid of those useless ****ing internationals.

 

yes maybe but LFC are aiming for higher than 8th so if you compare us to utd we could not deal with anything cos we failed to have decent cover. you'll need to note i'm not making any excuses for this failure to plan.

Its not a hard tactic to rock up, everyone sit on edge of box and kick the ball away when it comes near you.

Good management is being able to get to get your team to do that, while still being a threat up top as well.

Cant remember who but some manager said a while ago they could take any average Sunday league team and get them to stop conceding goals with bit of organisation, but it's getting them to do both sides that's the hardest part.

Seems like a really genuine bloke from everything I read about him, its just a shame his lack of defending ability and the 7-1 loss to Germany will always haunt his career.
