It's precisely the kind of signing I DON'T want us to be linked with just because the rags know we might have some cash. It would be the wrong kind of player for us.
Fernando is better, but would he be good in a weaker side like ours? I don't know.

Mangala is class, any Defender at City gets criticised for some reason or another. The problem is they spent £42 million on an unfished article and expected him to be the best CB in the world. Managla has all the attributes and under a coach like Rafa would be perfect for the PL. I just wouldn't pay more than £18m on him and that's a significant loss to city so I doubt they would be willing to do business!

 

Aye city standards and ours vastly different. Stones would walk into our team without complaint, bit of a laughing stock at City (or is that just the media?)
Either way Mangala would be ****ing good business.

Mangala hasn't raised any eyebrows for Valencia in what has them finishing mid-table. Massively overrated. Fernando is reaching the twilight of his carer and has merited 14 apps this season, signs aren't good for him either.

I remember Mangala being an absolute clown when ww beat Man City 2-0 in the cup, Aarons was tearing him apart.

Maybe hes got better, but central is one of the areas we're actually ok and im not sure hed be an improvement on what weve got.
