Do you they have any awards for non-playing staff? I guess it would be difficult because none of the nominees would be able to collect their awards. "And the award for best ticket office employee goes to...Lancelot with set of balls number 3".
If those awards say Hull City Tigers - and it seems they do - what an absolute ****ing joke our club is Owners that won't use our own name - even on the end of season awards Wtf is going on? Has an Allam sycophant got a sensible reason for our awards not just saying Hull City?
...I'll say what I say every year We shouldn't have the season's awards while the season is still going. I know they all want to bugger off on holiday when the season is over ... well tough, they should be contracted to attend it a couple of days after it finishes And given what the awards say then if that can't be done I'd rather we didn't have them at all Bah ****ing humbug
I'm pretty sure the players would like a fair few drinks too, which I'm assuming didn't happen last night.
"It's not the policy of the Club to not use Hull City" Hull City held its awards ceremony last night, and our congratulations to those who received recognition for their efforts throughout 2016/17: Brandon Fleming, Josh Tymon, Sam Clucas and Harry Maguire, the latter picking up a pair of awards each. Congratulations to all. But what’s this on the trophies themselves? please log in to view this image It’s “Hull City Tigers”! Which is very strange, because a fans’ committee was told, with a straight face last week, there “it is not the policy of the Club to not use Hull City”. It’s tempting to get angry at the club, yet again, for their gratuitously awful conduct. However on this occasion, it seems more appropriate to feel sympathy for players who’ve worked hard this season and seen their efforts rewarded, only to be have it devalued by trophies bearing the name of a non-existant club designed purely to wind up the people who cheer for them every week. http://www.ambernectar.org/blog/2017/05/it-is-not-the-policy-of-the-club-to-not-use-hull-city/
Do they have Hull City on? Yes? Makes me laugh the angst adding Tigers on causes. I know, I know, it's not you, it's them. They've tainted it. I suspect the players don't give any ****s about those 3 words btw nor do they feel it devalues the awards.
It's a ****ing stupid thing to do, it's done in the full knowledge that it will piss off a great many of our fans and for no reason other than our owner's a spiteful ****. Still, at least he can bank on you to support his ****witery.
After slipping into the bottom 3 last weekend I'd have cancelled the party altogether until they get back out again. You don't celebrate failure.
Season before last they cancelled it due to relegation, so they've brought it forward in the hope that we wouldn't have been relegated before the awards night.
Thinking the overly dramatic reactions are funny isn't the same as supporting it. All of the outrage online is about Hull Tigers. #notohullltigers Even the angsty don't notice there's the word City in it. Maybe it IS irrelevant after all?
There is no need to explain any of this to you as you are well aware what it's all about. You're just been a **** for ****s sake. We are Hull City.
Pissing off the fans has become a bigger story than who won the awards, bloody ridiculous... Who were the winners at Hull City's Player of the Year awards and why were fans upset? http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/who-...0323855-detail/story.html#oEtbXyh3uklO4Ghl.99
Beat me to it. A reminder to all, read all the posts and then go back to the one you want to reply to.
