Remember when Labour complained like **** when Thatcher stopped free milk for school kids, yet didn't give the free milk back to the school kids when they got into power?

They have a really clever scheme where they offer free school meals to primary school kids even if their parents are millionaires.

 

That Guardian article really hits home, health inspector jobs are down 25% and there is no telling what temperature a quarter of meat pies are stored at ?

Why not just not take a carton instead, it wasn't compulsory to drink the stuff. I ****ing hate milk.

We had little glass bottles, not cartons, & you had to put the empty back.

In summer it sat in the sun by the window all morning. In winter it sat over the radiators.

In other childhood memory news, in winter the doorstep milk used to freeze in the bottles, & sparrows would peck out the frozen cream.
