No doubt, you can post any number of links to comments from pundits who, at the start of the seasons were predicting that Spurs would even challenge for the title, let alone win it?

Please don't bottle this request. I'd hate to see you rinsed, yet again, Pixie, so soon after your last rinsing. I will put the cycle on REPEAT just in case, though.

But seeing as you mention it, I notice that RDBD has linked to the BBC where the very first pundit has predicted that Spurs will win the title.

You have my sympathy mate ... in January 2016 some bell end predicted we'd go into a downward spiral and be lucky to hang on for a UCL spot ... we only went on to win the fookin' title ffs!!!!! ..... lovely when you prove the bell ends wrong eh?

 

So, according to that list, only 14 out of 30 pundits predicted we'd finish top 4, and of those 9 predicted that we'd only just sneak in at 4th spot.

Interestingly, 20 predicted that Arsenal would get top 4.

32 predicted United would get top 4, with 12 predicting they'd win the title!

Only 13 thought 'Pool would get top 5.

Only one deluded pundit thought that Leicester would get top 4.

 

I suspect you are seeing "bell-ends" that aren't there, Bambi. They are figments of your over-heated, if somewhat limited, imagination.

I predicted, back in January of last year, that LCFC doing well last season will be at the expense of tragedy this season, and I have been proven right on that score. Unless you consider being forced to get rid of the man that lead you to glory - the greatest ever manager in the entire history of your club - to be anything other than a tragedy?

Two out of 33 BBC "pundits" said Spurs would finish in the top 2, and they
were ostensibly Spurs-biased. More significantly 2 out of 3 said Spurs would
not even finish in the top 4. Perhaps one of them is the author of this article.

We are not debating on what basis the pundits made their choices
(though it may be interesting to some) , merely that so many got it
fundamentally wrong when it came to Spurs / Citeh etc.
