Well a draw would have been better. It an Arsenal win was second on the list of options. Anything other than United winning makes it still in our hands.

Could do with saints doing us a favour and taking points off Arsenal mid week just to get them out the race.

Could be 1 point behind us on same games by next time we play.

Saints and stoke away, could do with them dropping points there as at the moment not sure I can see us beating West Ham away and Boro at home!

 

I dont have much confidence in us getting maximum points anyway. Performances since the arsenal game have not been convincing. Players will probably keep thinking they can get away with dropping points too - didnt see enough from them today to suggest otherwise anyway

 

I was right wasn't I? All their key players on the bench and 8 changes against a top side. Those who were fearing a United win needn't have worried. Mourinho did play his reserves. Arsenal won't be a threat.

To be fair they didnt really turn up today. A southampton team at their best would have beaten us today. Thats how poor we were

In the end..... we were absolutely terrible. Without Mane we are ****e and I was absolutely tearing my hair put looking at the turd of a performance coutinho dared hand in.

The most important thing today is the GD just went plus 5 in our favour and we have now a 5 point gap to utd...

They can take 9 points max more so we need 5 points more.... so we've no room for error at all.

Arsenal sure they can endo on 75 points but again it's the same script. We can't afford any dropped points now.

If the players like wijnaldum and coutinho turned in that level when things were on line... well they ain't getting better next week are they.....
