Those assets will be gone in the summer, and that's what hurts the most, Robbo, Maguire, clucas, Hernandez, huddlestone all sold off all 5 loan players gone **** all investment no manager, and no one willing to pay the Allan's the 200m they want for the club
Hernandez isn't an asset and wont be a loss - he should have been sold when we had the chance - our record on strikers over the last few years has been lamentable - just compare Sunderland with the likes of Defoe, Swansea with 'Loraine', Boro with Negredo or Palace with Zaha, Benteke etc - who did Bruce buy, Diomande, Prozzy, Danny Graham, Sagbo, Hernandez - even Silva brought in Niasse who isn't really good enough at this level - unfortunately the Allams are trying to run a Premier League club on a shoestring - the club has been toxic for some time because of the two ****s in charge - since the old man thinks hes a penguin, boy blunder isn't bright enough to steer the ship - I've no doubt the club will survive long term but it really depends on them selling up and ****ing off - another season with them two in charge will result in another Portsmouth / Blackpool
Pains me to say it, but their crowd really got behind them, perhaps their players were giving them something to shout about, whereas ours completely bottled it and muffed their lines, resulting in an atmosphere that was about as flat as a witches tit.
