12.30pm Man City vs Crystal Palace. Though hopefully Swansea lose today and then they're safe.

Really not sure if I want them to win and be on the beach next week or lose and so they need a result next week? Would love it for Sam to get relegated but I do think if they need a result next week, they'll be too good for us at their place?

we have turned a corner RE playing away from home.
it is a confidence thing.
we never had much confidence playing away from home.

Don't bother asking - you're right and Chazz is ****ing clueless - of course it's better for us if Palace lose - all this **** about beating teams on the beach is bullocks - Bolton were already relegated last season and Chazz's boyfriend managed to lose to them in probably the most lamentable game of the season

I hate to say this, but it very much looks like Crystal Palace have the beach shorts and the flipflops on. They are safe, and they are showing very little desire or effort here.

I just have a feeling we will beat Palace next week. An away win feels like it's coming, and given the Burnley result (who had the only worse record away than us at the time) I don't see why a Palace win should be considered inevitable.)

And I don't get this whole "on the beach" thing either. We've regularly been beaten by teams with nothing to play for, and we've beaten teams with a lot to play for (Palace in 2008 springs to mind.)

Palace losing today is good. If we manage to overcome Sunderland, that gives us two viable "outs" from the relegation battle. That is a good thing.

Didn't Newcastle go and win at Spurs after they'd gone down last season or am I wrong.

So you want to play palace when they need a result rather than when they don't need to get a result?? Thick ****ing ****.
