For the benefit of any 'locals' let me explain how life is for the many exiles around the country, and world, who do their best to support the club. The Swansea game is typical and illustrates how much effort we have to put in for a home game you may take for granted. I'll be setting off on Friday morning to drive almost 200 miles to my son's in Mansfield. On Saturday I'll have to drive to the A1 at Blyth then thumb a lift to Sunderland. If I can't get a lift South after the game, from a Swansea coach, I'l end up in some B&B then hitch back on Sunday. So, for anyone who mocks me for missing games, let me say this ......... ........... go and shove a broomshank further up your back passage than you've ever managed before
Unless I've missed something last I heard he was off and hasn't returned. Unless he's back under a different guise and I haven't put 2+2 together. Answers on a postcard.
Bollocks. Has he? Haven't seen any posts about Guinness or ex wives so have not given it a second thought......I hope he returns.
Swansea beat us 3-0 so frig them next week I hope we beat them, we are the best supported team out of all of them anyhow.
Na, leave it. Just like he left my daughter being attacked on this forum. We'll pretend we've never seen anything.
Maxim brewery at Houghton le Spring are making it again (or a version of it). Might be worth a Google to see where you can buy a bottle.
The thoughts of a totally committed Sunderland fan - no messing Infact this is the lifeblood of all football fans - supporting their team through thick and thin down the same bumpy road. We'll be back in the premier league stronger and who knows it may be with a (pre) Everton inspired Moyes after he has lost his " red devil " experience - he was recommended there for good reasons. No doubt Tel will have a balanced retort
