Not since well before the 1984-85 miner's strike. Long story, but I don't regret it. Never fancied mind altering drugs as I'm weird enough as it is.
james @Hedon80James The feedback I have received regarding the membership scheme has been collated and an email is on its way to the club #hcafc thank you all!
Any minutes published, or summary of the discussion? I've seen the Trust's three liner in their newsletter, but nothing else since.
Looks like they've been published: http://mobile.hullcitytigers.com//n...ittee-meeting-minutes-april-2017-3707061.aspx
One of the comments by a club rep :"It's not the policy of the club to not use Hull City". Hilarious. Then use our name you #ucking idiots!
One of the comments by a club rep :"It's not the policy of the club to not use Hull City". Isn't a double negative a positive? So IT IS club policy not to use Hull City. That sorts that then. The absolute whangers.
Tom Rowell is quite obviously more interested in coming up with excuses, than he is with actually addressing any of the issues raised. The comments on the use of the name are utterly pathetic, if it pisses everyone off when you call us Hull Tigers, then don't ****ing do it, don't pretend it's not happening.
****s sake. Those other marketing luminaries, The Birmingham City Evacuation Procedure Team use the word 'BLUES' so on that basis it's ok for City to use Tigers in everything. Righty - o.
Why only "occasionally" give tickets to schools/Sunday league teams? Why not always? Could have one designated block for this... And they say the Tigers Trust (who I'm not slating at all) give these out. Do they realise the Tigers Trust are only in certain (and not many) primary schools? So many kids missing out. As somebody who is paying a membership, I wouldn't be bothered if Joe Bloggs from Clifton Primary got to go one week and Mary Smith from Adelaide went the next for free. In one season, say 3 primary schools (and 2 secondary schools) at a time, you could have covered the whole of Hull and a % of those will come back themselves with parents or further school trips. It's not rocket science.
I think I know what he means, but I smiled at the reply saying effectively that the upper west wasn't closed, you just can't normally sit in it.
West Upper would be an ideal place to put the free tickets for schools. It'd make school's risk assessments easier if they did it as a trip or give more room for school kids to go each with one adult if not as a trip.
They are ****ers. Surely you weren't hoping for something positive. HOT WATER in the bogs please. Any water in the bogs!
West Upper is reserved for Manchester United, Newcastle United and Liverpool supporters if we stay up. Otherwise the costs of opening it will be greater than the revenue collected. If people think they will pay stewards to look after kids with free tickets they are sadly mistaken.
I'm surprised the club has actually published that, they'll get slaughtered. Re the ticket prices. They may have dropped them this year (for adults) but over the previous years they've raised them to unmanageable levels. The lack of concessions is ridiculous, it's a complete piss take. Surely the PL have to intervene, but if they did I bet they'd just hike up adult prices. For me the tickets should be priced similar to Burnley, and funnily enough, they manage to offer both direct debit and a lump sum payment.
I doubt for a second the people representing the club at the meeting believe half of the responses they gave. They'll just know they have to say that or face the sack. They've surrounded themselves with Yes Men.
One of the fans representatives is saying on Twitter that the minutes do not reflect the opposition given to the club by the committee. What a surprise.
