A bit of continuity can't hurt, but he's done nothing to persuade me that he's the right man for the job. I suppose it's fair enough to give him a clean slate and see what he does with it, but I'm not holding my breath...
Exactly. Short has clearly said something along the lines of "No settlement, I'm not firing you, you've got a 4 year contract, get to work or **** off." No way Moyes was flushing this payday down the drain. He'll never have a bigger job than this again. It will be 5 grand a month at Wycombe or sumit. He needs to leave with poke in his pocket and will sadly, one way or another.
Wondered why there were people on the wrong side of the railings when I drove over the Monkwearmouth Bridge earlier on! Not sure what to make of it - he might be OK - he might be shocking - only time will tell (I thought he would be anyhow as, like @jdsafc and @Bri said, managers rarely quit their millions of pounds contracts when they can get fired and get a payoff - which is also bollocks as it wouldn't happen in my line of work or most others)
Disappointed but there we have it. I now at least expect that the players who are not staying go straight away (or as soon as possible for the ones we need to sell) and that new players are bought in as early as possible. I want him to just have some more energy as he is draining the life out of me and I cant even get to the games.
All I'm going to say Is hahaha. Couldn't make this **** up. You sorry mackems. Nearly feel bad for you. nearly.
Yeah it was the same person. He thinks little Bradley Lowery's condition is something the club should be able to exploit for football gains. He's a low-life piece of **** who still hasn't retracted the statement or apologised. His band of fanboys have gone quiet too conveniently.
Before all of the talk of him walking I'd pretty much resided to the fact he was going to be here next year regardless of how much he's proven he's not up to it this year. All of the rumours of him going got my hopes up we might get a propper fresh start(as others have said though in hindsight this was never going to happen), now this just feels like the larest in a long list of disapointments this season. I have no confidence that moyse will turn it around this summer and hope that if we start slow the board grow a pair and bin him off. I'd be more than happy to be proven wrong though.
Unsurprising really. I don't like playing the bad guy but he wants it to just go away and it won't until he admits he was out of order.
£17m would just be the first bid mate. If he goes it'll be between £20m and £25m in my opinion. But. I don't think he'll go.
