My 3 stand out memories are in no particular order...my 1st game which was opening day of the 76/77 season. A 2-2 draw with Arsenal. Monty in goal and macdonalds debut for them after leaving the mags. Nice summers day in the roker end.
Also when we beat Chelsea in fa cup with Armstrongs late header.
And...when Rangers came to town in Bennets testimonial in summer of 93!

My first game in 67 v norwich fa cup mid week I can still remember the lights and how green the grass looked and as an 11 year old kid how I had the best mam in the world cause she had taken me 26 miles on a bus ( which took ages) so that I could see my hero's. Then she stood in the Fullwell end so I could sing along. Childhood seems so long ago now.

The night they brought the FA Cup back to Roker Park, with the coffin 'RIP Leeds Utd' brilliant atmosphere, never forget that.

The Arsenal / Tottenham games in the 60,s FA cup run were amazing events, but the Man C night in 73 and what followed, was pure magic, and will never ever be surpassed. <bubbly>

Benno vs Speedie and Armstrong's late header in the fa cup against Chelsea in '92 - I was only a kid when Benno chucked speedie in the crowd - stood in the roker end watching it but it was immense

standing in the original roker end in the 1970's was great, seeing the f a cup paraded in 1973 after the QPR match, my first ever match !. The night we played Ipswich they were top of the old 2nd division and we were (guess what) fighting relegation and we beat them 3-0, it bucketed down all afternoon and night I still don't know how the pitch survived that.
