What position does Holgate play? Just doesn't seem to be much of a player. Looks pretty average
Barkley... Yes there could be a player, but at 23 he doesn't seem to have progressed and being good for a few games a season just doesn't cut it anymore. But he is overrated, he's never going to be worldclass, he could be good but not WC.
Calvert-Lewin, meh, just doesn't look great. Another runner with little end product

Also don't see why its my problem, I'm not an Everton fan

You have to say everyone thought Blind would take that free kick - even the keeper took a step to the left. The two men at the end of the wall were blind-siding the keeper.
A goal right off training ground - A brilliant goal.

 

He did hit it well, but the keeper would have had it covered if he had positioned himself correctly.

I have a list as long my as my arm of players who never had it.

 

I imagine your list comes in very useful.

 

But crucially at the early stages a lot of people believe they did. There's a difference between coming into a team and performing for a run of games and staying in the team season by season and performing at a consistent level.

 

Utd win so they should make the final. They must be clear favourites for the Europa now.

 

And watching Holgate, he will stay and improve himself and the team. As will Calvert-Lewin. Davies will be sold no doubt

 

Because the goalkeeper jumped out of the way of Diveford's free kick he is now #worldclass according to Man Utd fans including #bbcsalford who have an article comparing him to Beckham, Ronaldo, and Henry (next to the one explaining who Celta Vigo are)

It was a good free kick but if that was your keeper than you would be a tad disappointed

 

Yeah, their keeper had done well up to that point aswell

 

Just seen the free kick. Blimey, it's a decent free kick but the hype it's got, was expecting something bit more. Keeper has stepped wrong way, stays where he is he can take 1 step and catch it. Good hit but see plenty free kicks just as good every week.

Sigg's free kick against united at weekend was better in my opinion. Gave the keeper no chance.

 

I agree. Its a good hit but its on his wrong side and thats prob why they are gooing themselves.

In short the keeper was way out of position behind his wall and while its a good hit and on target it should be saved all day.

It is the usual... it won the game and virtually assured utd of europa final so its goal of season.

 

Saw the game in the bar. Bitter bit - Celta Viga were not even Championship standard. Christ, I can see why we got rid of Malcolm In The Middle. Tbf to Unitard they beat what was in front of them.
