I don't think you are going to concede as many as 15 before the end of the season:huh:.

At the moment I can't see where Lukaku goes. I feel like for £80m you could probably get Griezmann, Mbappe or someone of that ilk. A true superstar, something I'm not convinced Lukaku will ever be.

Harsh to blame Lukaku for you being 7th though, or even implying that its something to do with him. The rest of your attack is pretty mediocre and only turn up to about 1 in 6 or 7 games.

I suppose that come down to if Costa stays or goes. If the Chinese were to come back with a big off I should think he'll be off. Clearly Batshuyai isn't fancied by the management, might be loaned or sold back to someone in France. So that obviously means Chelsea will be in need of a striker and Lukaku fits their style.
Then there is Man U, if they fail to get CL then they can rule out Griezmann or Mbappe who have both said they want CL next year. Lukaku could be their alternative option.

Fair assessment, its probably due to the over use of mediocre youngsters. Actually think a number of the Everton youngsters are overrated tbh and whilst they'll be decent players in the future aren't the stars many believe them to be (not just Everton fans). Barkley is getting to the age where he needs be consistent, Seems he's only managed 3 or 4 good games this season.
Others like Calvert-Lewin, Pennington and Holgate I simply don't rate. The only one I see really making an impact is Davies.

Its all about style of play IMO, Lucky is a god striker in the air, on the ground he does miss a few IMO, but thats my opinion. He is a good english style striker but he's hardly the most mobile. So does he suit cheslea, given costa is hadly the quickest

But the players you quoted as alternatives are sensational.. so do you want a target man or a quick forward I suppose.

Celta holding their own against Utd at present, they had the best chance of the match so far as well.

    were we discussing this earlier?

    20:34
Colin Reardon: And that's why players go down! Mkhitaryan was nicked in the box but carried on. If he'd gone down, pen.
Mwalimu Pedro: That was a penalty for Mkhitaryan ... ref!

    Celta Vigo 0-0 Man United
    Posted at25 mins
Henrikh Mkhitaryan gets free down the left, but his pull-back only finds the grateful gloves of Sergio Alvarez.
The United man stayed on his feet after a little clip to put that cross in.
A little less honesty and a little more skulduggery might have been the order of the day there.

and that is from the BBC "reporter"

Sideshow Bob gets a yellow card after 35 minutes, could be off before 60 minutes if he does not keep his elbows under control

Pennington will not make the grade, but Koeman trusted his younger players while other manager went for expensive imports and ignored the youth setups.

If you don't see a player in Holgate(out of position at RB) Barkley or Calvert Lewis then it's your problem as they are PL starters with limited experience

Barkley has made almost 150 league appearances for Everton. Limited experience. <laugh>.

Good free kick from Rashford, although the goalie helped by running the wrong way along his line.

Theres my 1-0 prediction and my possible regulation 2-0 could well occur before the end.
