Indeed mate, Seaman made a great save from Ormerod near the end too as well iirc. **** sake, we're just destined to never win anything again aren't we
Lundekvam would have got sent off in the second minute but he let go of Henry (I think?) about 0.1 seconds before Keith Stroud was ready to flag for a foul.
And to his credit Henry stayed on his feet. I actually spoke to Claus not long after that and he said he had so much respect for Thierry after that and he even said thank you to him - Henry shrugged and said apparently that why would he go down, he wanted to score. Top, top man (well not if you are Irish)
I thought Rooney came in for some harsh treatment from the Northam that day, They spent the entire match singing about how fat he was, he took it all in good humor and when he scored, he stood in front of them and did a muscle-man pose, I thought; fair enough, but there were people around me who actually wanted to kill him!!!
How about Virgil saying Saints supporters are the best in the World, much better than where I am moving to!
Tbh if an irish player did that 99% of our population would have been applauding him so i bare him little ill feeling
On Sky they say we haven't beaten Liverpool at Anfield since 2013? Cup games don't count I suppose? Dusan says he loves our Club! (They have since corrected it to "in the League") On Twitter: Adam Blackmore says "Always good speaking to @ryanbertrand3 - he just dismissed reports of bust-ups at #saintsfc between Puel & players, and of him being unhappy." - looks like someone has been telling porkies?
I don't think any player will be on their holibobs after the Hull game....they will want to put that right. They know we are better than that and will want to show it. Our team has never been one to fold...ever!
And if we're only going to win four more games this season, please let it be this one, Gooners, Manure and Stoke. We'll give the smoggies their last day drama.
