Mate, there was plenty duplicity, of that I can assure you. If you are happier with your own somewhat sanitised version of events - "alternative facts", shall we say, then fine . The truth is he lied to SFC, & conducted negotiations with spurs in secret whilst still under contract. But it's all forgotten now.

Beattie never won the Golden Boot but he came close in his most prolific season which was 02/03, (he moved on to us in the Jan window of 2004).

So HIAG watched him smashing them in at Saints that season, which must have been one of the "3 consecutive seasons" that he had a ST at Soton, but he was also a STH at Spurs for the first half of the 00's

Clue - Oxo only ever played for us in League 1 and made his debut in 09/10

I have been to watch the MK Dons a few times because they are down the road from me and their tickets cost nothing compared to Chelsea's.

But would I **** pay for a season ticket for another premier league team, for 3 ****ing seasons!!
