I finally signed up personally for Netflix on Friday evening, rather than being on it on the back of someone else's membership. It worked on the laptop, but not on the telly. I'd just been watching Youtube and i-player, so it wasn't the router or the telly. I decided to leave it until Friday before calling customer support.

I called them on Saturday after the pub and an American woman answered. I explained and she asked me to switch my laptop on which I couldn't as the unit was out and it was on the chest of drawers. I said I'd call back later. I called back a little later and it was an American bloke this time. I asked him where I was calling and he said Salt Lake City <yikes> I immediately asked if the call was free and it was, thank ****! Isaac was studying for an accountancy degree and was only doing this to earn some money. So every time something he suggested didn't work, he had to go away and ask someone who knew the score. I was on the phone to him for 90 mins!. He was originally from Minnesota. When I told him I was from Liverpool, he didn't even know who The Beatles were and he'd never heard of Liverpool FC <grr> When I told him, he said he didn't follow "soccer". He got it sorted though, or someone did.

I now need good films to watch on LinkedIn. I started watching the Expanse, luv. Does it get better as it just seemed to be a below-standard version of Total Recall meets Bladerunner.

I really liked it. It got stronger as it went along but i would say if you are not that interested by episode 3, it's probably not your cup of tea....

Peep show wanders all over the place from boring to amongst some of the absolute best comedy ever made. It's very inconsistent. You can't just watch one episode in case it's a bad one.

The Mark Corrigan character is very well developed. One of the best unique characters in comedy.

Jeremy seems to be more cliché, your average "stupid-junkie" character, although a little better developed than that role in most comedies. Still, I always find the "idiot" in sitcoms a bit of a cop out way for an easy laugh.

I'm not a massive fan of it but yes it gets better. The 2nd series has very good ratings.

Yanks arnt as clueless as they were 20 years ago but you still occasionally run into one that is nice and clueless. The question that usually clues me in is when they ask if I know the queen. I like to mess with them now and will tell them I grew up mates with Prince William and that she's been over to tea at my place. Or I'll say I'm a third cousin and I see her at family reunions.

It's funny watching their facial expressions to see them struggling to decide whether to believe me or not.

Dr Strangelove, Mean Streets and Bad Lieutenant are on there if you want some classics.

Chromecast is great when it works and a bitch when it doesn't. Just buy a Smart TV with Netflix built in, nice and easy.

Probably not. It's easy once its set up but you still need to interact with it using your mobile.

Judging from your lack of uploading pics probably not

Marco Polo not a film but a fantastic series. One of the best things on Netflix. Sorta like a simplified version of GOT (not a dozen houses fighting each other though) set on earth with a tiny pinch of real history.

I'm sad they stopped after 2 series. Zhu Zhu is an amazingly hot actress. Hear there may be a hundred-eyes spin off series being considered.
