    No mate, why?

Aahh I see. Running tomorrow for new connections. I hope he does well. He really lost his way with Michael after so much early promise.

    DESERT EXPLORER 11/4 Nottingham 2.40
Went in the notebook on debut at Kempton when looking the type to improve for a run or two. I then tipped him up at Bath but with the concern that the track may not suit him. He duly got going far too late or would have won. This track will suit him better this time and with the extra experience under his belt he really should be winning this time.

I see those bookie chappies have started wagering on individual constituencies ahead of the 'General Election' next month. In my own town the Conservatives are 1/50! And to be frank I think that is quite generous (I’m sure that old boy Arkle has got on ‘Tote Place’ already).

This quote is though all the more remarkable when you consider that for the period 2010-15 our MP was a Liberal Democrat. I think the betting shows just how woeful they proved to be and how far the old swingometer has swung in recent times!

Right I'm off to the 'top table'...

That's a fair point but I don't really rate Attwater anyway so the change of yards is a definite positive for me

I understand and accept why you might not rate Michael but let me put the case forward for the defence.
80% of the horses in the yard are purchased by his main owner who does all his own buying.
Of the balance Michael has paid buttons for Music Major, Knight Music and Squire who have all done brilliantly!

You obviously have more of an insight into his operation, which is very much appreciated when you share said insight. My perspective is just as a member of Joe Public and on the face of it he's not a trainer who I'm particularly keen on. Purely from a betting perspective he doesn't stand out to me as someone who id have much success with by following his horses. He doesn't appear to have many winners but is more one of those trainers who'll pop up with one at a decent price just every now and again.

To Sticks point he really doesnt have much ammo - most of the horses in the yard are old, fully exposed and on the decline. He's done pretty well with decent animals in Dubai. He has had some rotten luck like losing Emprie Storm in transit to Dubai and not havnig a stable jockey i think really hinders him. He doesnt have enough horses to employ one which means alot of the time jockeys havent sat on horses until race day and leaves him open to the 'Ginger Pat' antics.
